چکیده
Abstract The dynamics of ionospheric troughs that developed during a great geomagnetic storm on 11–13 April 2001 are studied using measurements electron density obtained by the CHAMP satellite at an altitude 410–465 km. Subauroral, mid-latitude and low-latitude were observed nighttime, sometimes simultaneously. subauroral trough is usually defined as main trough, whereas associated with magnetospheric ring current. It appeared beginning recovery phase around latitudes 40°–45° GMLat (L = 1.7–2.0) existed for long period time throughout late residual current 50°–55° ~ 2.4–3.0). For first time, was revealed. 34°–45° 1.45–2.00) in association precipitation energetic particles from inner radiation belt.

Ionospheric Estimation using Extended Kriging for a low latitude SBAS
The ionosphere causes the most difficult error to mitigate in Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS). The problem has been solved for the mid latitude regions using the thin shell approximation. There, it is very accurate on quiet days and allows the augmentation system so send the information in a two dimensional grid with a five by five degree resolution. However, even during quiet days,...

A more detailed analysis is made of the energy spectrum of the diffuse component of extragalactic gamma rays over the range of 0.3- 10 GeV, obtained fromthe EGRET instrument at the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory. The derived excess energy spectrum of high galactic latitude, b > 60°, using intercept method shows that it is correlated with Virgo cluster (over lsr) and average Virgo intensity i...
متن کاملLow-latitude ionospheric turbulence observed by Aureol-3 satellite
Using PSD (Power Spectral Density) data on electron density and electric field variations observed on board Aureol-3 satellite at low-to-mid-latitude ionosphere we analyze a scale distribution of the ionospheric turbulence in a form k , where k is the wave number and α is the spectral index. At first, high-resolution data in the near-equator region for several orbits have been processed. In thi...

A long series of regular measurements of ionospheric F-region peak electron dens...
متن کاملUpper limit on the inner radiation belt MeV electron intensity
No instruments in the inner radiation belt are immune from the unforgiving penetration of the highly energetic protons (tens of MeV to GeV). The inner belt proton flux level, however, is relatively stable; thus, for any given instrument, the proton contamination often leads to a certain background noise. Measurements from the Relativistic Electron and Proton Telescope integrated little experime...
